life is good

Life is truly good. Everything has turned out for the better. Lizzy is off in Pemberley while Jane is not far from her. It seems as if Lizzy has taken a liking for Miss Darcy and some sort of acceptance with Miss Bingley. I can now die knowing that my daughters are satisfied and living well. Goodbye forever, friends of this rather tedious blog.

Lucky Bennets

It is true, we are a lucky family. My daughters have married two great men. My mission is complete. I only wanted the best for them, and that is what they have. Even our neighbors are commenting on how lucky they are to have found these perfect men.

Truth be told!

Collins was correct! Darcy does intend to marry Lizzy. My husband has given him permission, so it is going to happen. They are engaged! I am rather dumbfounded. Words cannot express my feelings right now.

Collins Letter

My husband has recently received a letter from Mr. Collins, suggesting that Mr. Darcy and Lizzy would engage in marriage. This statement is astonishing. I could not have predicted that Darcy had interest in my Lizzy. Nonetheless, I am very happy for her.

Bingley's Visit

To my surprise, Bingley and Darcy came to Longbourn. I am so intrigued by Mr. Bingley. He completely overshadows Mr. Darcy in my mind. I can't believe that he got away from Jane. He truly is the perfect man.... Far better than Darcy could ever be.

Bingley

News recently reached us that Mr. Bingley was returning to Netherfield. I wish that he can visit with Jane and revive their relationship. I still possess a keen liking for that man and hope he regrets what happened with my dear Jane.

Goodness Gracious

Wow! So much has occurred recently. Lydia and Wickham came to visit. I am glad that Lydia seems unaffected by all that is going on. She is so strong. Lydia has also informed us that Darcy attended her wedding. How strange that is...
