Single and Ready to Mingle

To anyone who comes across this,

My daughter, Elizabeth, is in need of a man to marry. Lizzy is particular with whom she shares her life with. She recently denied two gentlemen(One of which is very qualifying) of a marriage proposal. She is intelligent, elegant, beautiful, and caring. She is deserving of a man with similar qualities.

  2. Mother dearest.. I know all your life you have been trying to get all your daughters married but it takes time to find the right guy that accepts me, and it takes time for me to accept a man. I have high expectations and I would appreciate it if you give me some responsibilty and let me find the perfect man that loves me for me and also loves my family.

  3. Oh my dearest mother, i know that all you are trying to do is find your daughters a good future, but i think i should be the one looking for that special someone. I really dont think Mr.Darcy is the right one for me. Im sorry mother, i love you. Thanks for always being there.

  4. your daughter wouldn't be "single and ready to mingle" if she had just accepted my proposal. it was the least she could do considering there are no other options superior than me. you must tell her to reconsider her decision. please do.

    sincerely,
    Darcy.

  5. So she is STILL single, then? Well, as the other rejected man (the one she described as "very qualifying"), I must say this cannot be acceptable! I will have to speak with Miss Elizabeth at once. You did say single AND "ready" to mingle, right...?

  6. It serves Darcy right. At the particular moment I do not see it fit for anyone to be betrothed to Darcy due to his recent actions inflicted on me. I am in a state of confusion and he should not be happy at my loss.

  7. I do not see why she rejected me. As you said, I was qualified and a good person for he to marry. We are friends and I do not think we should marry anymore. Friends are a good place to be and I wouldn't want to ask for her hand in marriage again. She should marry someone, but not necessarily me.

  8. Mother, I think that you need to give Lizzy a chance to find a husband on her own. We all know Lizzy, and if she is not happy, we will never hear the end of it. Not only that, but I know that we all truly believe that Elizabeth deserves a husband who will treat her right. She values true love and needs the chance to find it without your interference.
